The Texas House and Senate convened on January 13 for its 2015 session and 36 pro- and anti-gun bills have been filed already. Surprisingly, the most popular bill—open carry—has not moved. Senate Bill 11 and Senate Bill 258 have moved into Committee. Senate Bill 11 approves concealed carry on campus and Senate Bill 258 imposes background checks for fiream sales on all individuals at gun shows.
